03-Year-Old Permanent Warrant Executed, Accused Arrested
Kotwali Police team executes a pending permanent warrant.

Ambikapur: Under the directions of DIG & SSP Surguja Shri Rajesh Agrawal (IPS), all police station and outpost in-charges in the district have been instructed to execute pending permanent and arrest warrants and produce absconding warrant offenders before the Hon’ble Court.
In compliance with these directions, the Kotwali Police team executed a permanent warrant against an accused who had been absconding in Case No. 2324/23 under Section 34(1) of the Excise Act.
The accused, Prakash Ram Ekka, aged 22 years, resident of Gadaghat Road, Bauripara, Ambikapur, had failed to appear before the Hon’ble Court, following which a permanent warrant had been issued against him.
Acting on the warrant, the Kotwali Police team successfully apprehended the absconding permanent warrant offender and produced him before the Hon’ble Court for further legal proceedings.
The operation was carried out under the leadership of Kotwali Police Station In-charge Sub-Inspector Akhilesh Singh. Assistant Sub-Inspector Devnarayan Yadav and Constable Abhishek Singh played an active role in executing the permanent warrant.
