Alleged Social Media Influencer Akanksha Toppo Faces Police Complaint, Kotwali Police Begin Investigation
Ambikapur: A police complaint has been filed against alleged social media influencer Akanksha Toppo by Janpad Panchayat member Priya Singh at Ambikapur Kotwali Police Station. Priya Singh reached the police station along with local residents and alleged that abusive and objectionable comments had been made against her on social media, seeking appropriate action.
According to the complaint, the dispute escalated after Priya Singh’s name was mentioned in connection with an argument between two groups during a Matki Phod competition. It has been alleged that Akanksha Toppo mentioned Priya Singh’s name in a comment on her social media page regarding the incident, which has reportedly angered some local residents.
Following the complaint, Kotwali Police have initiated an investigation into the matter. The complainants have sought appropriate legal action over the alleged objectionable remarks on social media.
It is also being reported that a police complaint had previously been filed against Akanksha Toppo. She has also been in the news on earlier occasions over comments made on social media concerning political leaders and government officials.
