Swamitva Rights Record Execution and Registration Campaign a Historic Initiative for Rural Residents: Pradeep Mishra

Ambikapur: The “Swamitva Rights Record Execution and Registration Campaign,” being conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Government from September 17 to October 17, 2026, has been described by Pradeep Mishra, Co-Treasurer of the BJP Kisan Morcha, Surguja District, as an important and public welfare-oriented initiative for rural residents.

Pradeep Mishra said that under this campaign, eligible families in rural areas are being provided the benefit of free registration of Abadi land and residential leasehold properties. This will help rural residents obtain registered property documents and strengthen their legal ownership rights. It can also make it easier for them to obtain bank loans for house construction, business activities and other essential needs in the future.

He said the campaign could prove particularly beneficial for people who have been struggling for years to establish their rights over land in their possession or residential leasehold properties. Availability of proper land records and registered documents can also help reduce property-related disputes in the future.

Pradeep Mishra expressed his gratitude to the Madhya Pradesh Government led by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav for the initiative and said that the government has taken an important step towards strengthening the property rights of rural families.

He further said that other states across the country should also consider undertaking similar initiatives concerning the land and residential rights of rural residents, so that eligible families who have been struggling for their rights for years can receive legally secure and clearly documented ownership.

He appealed to rural residents to contact their local Patwari, Tehsil Office or Gram Panchayat Office during the campaign period to obtain information about the status of their ownership records and registration and, if eligible, avail themselves of the benefits of the campaign.
